Special Needs Therapy

What is special needs therapy? The view of children with special needs has expanded in recent years to include children with mild neurological conditions, such as ADHD and learning disorders, as well as the more severe biological and neurological disorders represented by Autism, developmental disabilities, and acquired brain injury. For each disorder, a contiuum from mild to more severe exists. Frequently, conduct difficulties and disruptive behavior occur along with the educational, medical, and social symptom. Many types of therapy address special needs. This blog is dedicated to children with all types of special needs, and the families who nurture their growth.
